Louisiana Tech University Partners with Frazier Fundraising for Innovative Capital Campaign Launch
Ruston, Louisiana (November 19, 2018) – Louisiana Tech University launched its boldest fundraising initiative in its history, the $125 million “Forever Loyal” Campaign with an innovative announcement and engagement strategy designed to engage the alumni base and community in innovative and measurable ways.
With over 70,000 living alumni all over the world, Louisiana Tech wanted to find a way to identify, engage and activate alumni. University leaders understood that to successfully reach alumni meant they needed an approach that was efficient and cost effective and that communicated with members of the Tech Family in all channels.
“It was critical for us to get our vision and message out quickly and comprehensively to our alumni around the world,” said Brooks Hull, Vice President for University Advancement. “We looked for creative and innovative ways to go beyond traditional methods of reaching the Tech Family. Frazier Fundraising advanced our our reach and increased impact through their digital messaging solutions.”
This hyper-targeted initiative promoted Louisiana Tech’s public launch of their comprehensive campaign in a way that fosters engagement and philanthropic support.

About the campaign
Louisiana Tech used a hyper-targeted location-based solution designed to influence their alumni in defined affinity-based locations. Tech and FzF began building an audience using high affinity locations such as campus, Joe Aillet Stadium, downtown Ruston alumni events along with other key geographic parameters. This audience of fans, friends, family and alumni was expanded to include visitors to certain key university web properties.
Multi-dimensional mobile and browser-based banner ads along with 30-second pre roll video content were created to carry the Forever Loyal theme and brand. These ad promotions were served to the growing audience to promote the campaign and drive engagement in the campaign landing page where a campaign video and supporting messaging serves to give vision to the campaign and university priorities with the primary objective of driving philanthropic participation.
